Your field of responsibility
• Having responsibilities on our China EQD Structured Products Trading business being one of the main traders based onshore in China delivering focused and professional client servicing, supporting the commercial efforts of the group.
• Exposure to China A Shares Trading and for PnL generation in trading Derivative products in the China market.
• Your development of individual trading strategies and your monitoring of positions.
• Collaboration with team members to develop cross-border products and to design cross-border trades.
• Working with other APAC desks to structure client solutions in a resource efficient manner.
• Interacting with a diverse set of stakeholders to ensure business is coordinated and cohesive from a liquidity and financing perspective.
• Participating in bank wide strategic projects to increase efficiency, control and security.
• Having a close working partnership with trading and sales across the regions in growing the franchise onshore and in Asia.
• Contributing in improving, innovating the business, along with the day to day dynamics.
• Coordinating efforts and communications within the team ensuring all regulatory requirements are being followed.
• Collaborating with a wide diverse set of partners and related Markets teams across the organization in a highly global environment.
• Calibrating, fine-tuning and in the improvement of various trading components in order to improve strategy performance.
• Assisting the team in identifying new opportunities and products development.

Your skills and experience
5+ years of related experiences and understanding of trading vanilla derivatives products in the China markets, especially in A Shares.
Understanding of overall Asian market structure and mechanics.
The ability to multi task in a fast paced environment and being proactive in self-training plus in implementing new controls and procedures to improve own role.
Analytical and confident personality with excellent relationship skills in order to interact with sales, trading, and senior management on business issues.
Excellent written and verbal abilities in English, along with Chinese Mandarin given the market of focus.
Your strong attention to details, having the ability to work in tight deadlines along with you being highly motivated and a self-starter.
Thinking ahead, finding answers, problem solving and being engaging in growing with the ability to learn quickly.
Being able to work in Beijing and within a diverse team environment, cross collaborating with connected teams regionally and globally.
A real passion for improving, building and embracing change.
Excellent quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and work well under pressure.
