Wealth Management Manager

Core Activities and Responsibilities:
•You will be responsible for the Change-the-Bank and Run-the-Bank aspects of Wealth management (WM) processes and represent progress and status of the project to management
•Manage teams performing various processes within WM operations where they will be performing duties of Post trade support, client reporting, Fees Processing etc
•Collaborating with Client Facing Employees, COO and other key stakeholders (e.g. Compliance, General Counsel, Finance etc.) and acting as a control and subject matter expert on the integration of the WM processes with the onshore business model
•Ensure all procedural discussions are well-documented and disseminated accordingly with the team members
•People management, talent management of direct and indirect reports (including supporting staff development), and performance management

You Offer:

Qualifications and Skills:
•At least 7-9 years of operational and middle office experience specifically in the WM and  securities brokerage division, with a proven track record of managing multiple teams, processes, functions and driving change
•Strong communication skills essential for interacting at all levels across business disciplines, regions and branches as well as strong influencing skills
•Capable of assertively interacting with business stakeholders and regions / branches (internal stakeholders) in order to resolve day to day issues, control risks and improve operational efficiency
•Good understanding of local Regulatory and Compliance, internal Risk and Control framework governing operations, projects and knowledge of transitions framework
•Familiar with domestic and oversea financial market and products, rich experience on pre and post trade support
•Capable of understanding global minimum standards and working together with multiple stakeholders to ensure end-product or processes satisfy local requirements of the China market.
•Able to work under bilingual environment and Asset management experience a plus

Leadership and Delivery:
•Strong People Management skills with ability to lead Change and effectively report on senior management reviews/presentations
•Drive a culture of high performance by providing direction to the team to ensure delivery is aligned to the global strategy
•Manage, lead and provide direction to the team members on how to execute the management plans and be aligned on global standards
•Proactive coordination on and able to work under pressure, effective problem solving during WM operations
•Decision maker with logical thinking to assess risks and identify mitigating controls
